Project: Slalom
Location: Sierra Nevada, Spain
Area: 95 m²
Design: March 2026
Client: Private family & rental investor
Scope: Full interior refurbishment and layout optimization for a hybrid-use apartment, balancing family comfort with high-performing rental appeal
This project transforms a two-bedroom apartment in Sierra Nevada into a refined modern chalet designed for both personal use and short-term rental. The concept balances warmth, durability, and visual appeal—creating a space that feels inviting for guests while remaining practical for everyday family life.
The layout was reimagined to create an open and fluid living, dining, and kitchen area, maximizing natural light and framing the panoramic mountain views. Large windows become the focal point of the space, enhancing the connection between interior and landscape.
The design language combines alpine character with a contemporary approach—natural wood tones, soft textiles, and a warm neutral palette create a calm and cohesive atmosphere. Materials were selected for both aesthetic quality and long-term durability, supporting frequent use without compromising comfort.
Design Highlights
